Biography
At one time famous as a model, singer as well as actress, performer Mila Jovovich acquired starkest of characters which that betrayed her Eastern European origins. She was born in the family of a Russian actress and a Yugoslavian doctor and at the age of five moved with her family to Sacramento, CA. She started her professional modeling career at very early age when she was 11. She acquired an international renown after she was noticed by the photographer Richard Avedon, which brought her a great chance to appear in Revlon’s “Most Unforgettable Women in the World”. Her professional model contract did not make her wait for a long, it was signed at the age of 12, Jovovich appeared on cover of “The Face’, ‘Vogue’, ‘Cosmopolitan’ and many other famous magazines. Jovovich also began her actresses career, soon appearing in Zalman King’s X-rated movie Two Moon Junction (1988), Return to the Blue Lagoon.
